SNOW...
that's right, after what seems like endless days without end with subzero temperatures ( nor high teens!!!!!!!!!!) The meteorologists were right, and white fluffy flakes fell from the sky. Actually enough to blanket the yard. It will be interesting to see what will survive this frigid week. Doesn't quite look like my Christmas light powered"greenhouses" were enough. Colt is having a ball in the snow, though Puppy could definitely do without it

Prepping for the Artic Front
This might be another killer frost. Last year we got a way to cold few days that wiped out half my citruses, and if the meteorologist are correct, this looks like another one.
I have been spending days trying to get ready. There's a LOT of plants to cover. Had a genius idea of creating mini greenhouses out of plastic sheeting, wire fencing and Christmas lights. Actually looks great at night, luminaries scattered across the yard
